Basic knowledge of gift box making

The upper cover and the lower bottom of the Tiandi cover box are separated (except for the one-piece upper and lower covers), and the handmade gift packaging boxes are roughly divided into: book-shaped boxes (also known as package boxes), and Tiandi cover boxes (also known as upper and lower buckle boxes) , special-shaped box.

Book-shaped gift box (package gift box) production process:

1. Determine the design draft

2. Confirm the sample and place an order for production

3. Scheduling production materials (fabric paper, enclosure, inner stickers, bottom paper, cardboard or MDF, inner support materials, etc.)

4. Printing wrapping paper and inner stickers (if there is a matching handbag, the handbag needs to be printed)

5. Post-processing process (filming, embossing, UV, bronzing, embossing, die-cutting and other processes can be selected according to needs)

6. Box cutting:

a. Surrounding paper, printed surface paper, inner stickers, panels, hoardings and inner trays made of gray cardboard materials are cut to a predetermined size with a paper cutter (density board needs to be cut with a professional large saw)

b. Panel processing: V groove machine to open V groove, stick iron sheet

c. Hoarding processing: punching machine to drill magnet holes

d. Inner support processing: the inner support is a gray board, which needs to die-cut the gray board and then stick the cut silk cloth, and the inner support is a foam, which needs to tie the cut silk cloth on the formed foam

7. Paste the face paper (that is, wrap the panel paper and pay attention to scraping the surface and wrapping the edges firmly), paste the inner stickers, and mount the enclosure (at the same time, magnets need to be placed).

8. Box assembly (you can choose the gluing method according to the material needs: brush the original glue on the enclosure and glue the glue gun for assembly. When assembling, keep the box clean to avoid glue leakage and affect the appearance.)

9. Paste the bottom paper as needed. (Note to keep the box clean)

10. Put the inner support (the inner support that is asymmetrical up and down should be placed in different directions)

11. Wipe the box and pack it (it takes a while to make the box, and there will inevitably be floating soil and stains, so we need to wipe the box to finish)

The production process of heaven and earth cover box (upper and lower cover box):

The difference between the production of the Tiandi cover box and the book-shaped box is that the panel of the bag-type box is divided into the front face, upper face, back face, and bottom of the box by the V-groove. box.

The methods are somewhat different:

1. The upper and lower covers of the density board material need to be fixed with white latex on the upper cover and the lower bottom of the opened sheet respectively, and let dry. (The upper and lower cover boxes of the gray cardboard material can be opened with a "well" V groove, and the four corners can be removed and fixed directly with adhesive tape)

2. Mount the processed face paper on the upper cover and the lower bottom.

3. Fasten the upper cover and the lower bottom to complete the assembly (the box with upper and lower covers needs to be connected with a connecting plate to form the upper and lower covers).

4. Put the inner tray, wipe the box, and pack it.

Production process of special-shaped boxes: special-shaped boxes should be determined according to specific boxes. Most special-shaped boxes are extensions of heaven and earth cover boxes and bag-style boxes, and the production process is similar with minor differences. (There are corner boxes, heart-shaped boxes, round boxes, cone-shaped boxes, drawer boxes, multi-layer boxes, etc.)
